CDL Distribution Driver

Creambrook Farm is a grass-based dairy with its cows on pasture 365 days per year.
Our family-owned raw milk farm is looking for a full-time CDL A Distribution Driver.

You would be an integral part of our team to ensure our products are safely and efficiently delivered and manually unloaded to drops across Virginia on assigned routes. You would have the opportunity to build relationships with our hosts and herd share members using a positive, friendly approach and become familiar with their operations to meet expectations.
Job responsibilities:
Load, deliver, and unload the accurate number of milk shares / add-on products to designated drop-offs within the expected time frame.
Maintain accurate delivery records.
Clean / maintain fridges at drop-off sites on a routine basis.
Establish positive relationships and rapport with hosts and staff at drop-offs.
Promote our brand and business integrity with professional, respectful behavior and professional, appropriate appearance.
Commitment to product quality and contribute to best management practices in maintaining or reaching goals.
Complete preliminary check of delivery truck before beginning the route on a daily basis.
Keep delivery trucks clean inside and out, and complete light maintenance on a routine basis.
Complete vehicle safety operation for loading/unloading.
Follow best safety practices at all times.
Maintain a valid driver’s license in good standing.
Obtain / maintain CDL A credentials in good standing.
Perform other duties as assigned by direct supervisor or other members of the leadership team.
Job Requirements:
Must have a valid CDL A license with a clean driving record with tanker endorsement & air-brake endorsement, and must be licensed to drive a manual transmission (cannot have an E restriction).
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in truck driving roles.
Familiarity with route driving and navigation tools to optimize delivery efficiency.
Ability to safely load and unload products, with physical capability to lift heavy items of up to 60 pounds and frequently push up to 250 lbs of milk using a push dolly when necessary.
Strong attention to detail and accurately counting inventory of products.
Ability to use basic mathematical skills.
Knowledge of safety regulations related to truck driving and freight handling.
Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
Excellent and professional communication skills for effective interaction with team members and customers.
Ability to build and maintain positive, professional, and collaborative relationships with coworkers, herd share members, hosts at delivery drops, and the public.
Schedule:
This full-time position is regularly required to work weekday daytime hours, typically scheduled between the hours of 4 AM - 6 PM, with occasional evening and Saturday work as necessary to effectively complete the requirements of this position.
