Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Ice Cream Recipe
You will need:
2 cups Raw Milk
2 cups Raw Cream
½ cup Raw Honey
¼ cup Maple Syrup
3 egg yolks from pastured hens (optional)
1 TBSP. Vanilla extract
½ tsp Salt (high quality such as Redmond Real Salt, etc)
⅓ - ½ cup Peanut Butter (our fave is crunchy - if you love peanut butter, go for ½ cup :)
1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, chopped small, set aside
In a large blender, add one ingredient at a time, except for chocolate chips.
Place mixture in an ice cream maker and churn until soft.
When there's 5 minutes left, add chocolate chips and churn to desired consistency.
The 2 quart Cuisinart ice cream maker that we have (13 yrs old) has ice cream ready in about 25-28 minutes.
Enjoy! Nothing beats summer heat like delicious ice cream!
