Add this recipe to your breakfasts on snow days and cozy mornings! π
Cinnamon rolls without the rising time? Yes, please.
We had our first snowfall this morning and it was the perfect sweet recipe to bake for when the boys got inside from chores.

β Sweet Cinnamon Biscuits β
Ingredients
4 cups of sifted all-purpose flour
2 Tbsp baking powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup melted butter
1.5 cups raw milk
0.5 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar (or more)
1 teaspoon cinnamon (or more - I use a lot!)
Combine flour, baking powder, salt and baking soda in a medium bowl and mix well.
Stir in melted butter.
Add milk and stir just until blended.
Knead the dough on a lightly floured surface until smooth. Roll dough into a rectangle about 1/4 inch thick on a floured surface.
Spread butter over the dough.
Cover the buttered dough with brown sugar and then sprinkle cinnamon on top.
Roll up rectangle, starting from one long side and pinch seam to seal.
Cut the roll into 1-1/2 inch slices.
Arrange the slices in a greased baking pan.
Bake at 400 degrees until lightly browned, about 15-20 minutes.
While the cinnamon biscuits are baking, make a white glaze by whisking together 1 cup of powdered sugar, 1 teaspoon of vanilla, and 1 - 4 tablespoons of milk. (For a thicker icing, use more sugar and less liquid.)
Spread or pour immediately over baked biscuits.
Enjoy!! π
